Preliminary Environmental Assessment 30-Day Public Comment Period Open for Twofer Fuels Reduction Project

Placerville and Pacific Ranger Districts, Eldorado National Forest

A preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) has been prepared for the Twofer Fuels Reduction Project, which is available for public review and comment.

Learn more about the public comment period and how to comment. The legal notice was published April 24, 2019, in the Mountain Democrat. The Forest Service will accept comments on the preliminary EA for 30 days following the publication of the Mountain Democrat public notice.

About the Twofer Project

The Twofer Project proposes to implement vegetation management and associated activities on approximately 8,561 acres along the north and south sides of the Highway 50 on both the Pacific and Placerville Ranger Districts of the Eldorado National Forest, El Dorado County, CA.
